Why we built this

NYC Brides Anonymous started as a group chat between friends—a place to trade vendor recs, debate whether ‘adults only’ sounds too harsh, and compare notes on things like seating charts, afterparty plans, and whether or not to do a welcome speech.

As more of us got engaged, the group grew. Friends added friends. People we didn’t even know joined in. And suddenly, we had this support system full of brides navigating the same chaos, helping each other through all the decisions no one warns you about.

This isn’t a place for perfection. It’s for honest questions, shared spreadsheets, half-finished timelines, and “does this sound okay?” texts at 11pm. Whether you’re planning everything yourself or working with a planner who doesn’t have time for the little stuff, this is the group chat you actually need.

Now we’re bringing it to Slack to welcome even more NYC-based brides into the fold.

Welcome, we’re so glad you’re here.
